As Special Cable  Process Engineer , you will be the central point of contact within the organization for new SRS; HSCA; Special cables projects within new developments focusing on manufacturing engineering.


Your role


  • Establishing a Lean MET team within EMEA that is able to meet business needs.
  • Drive benchmarking (BOP/BOE) within the region and collaborates with the EMEA, NA, AP  and Global BOP leaders on global utilization.
  • Utilize, DMF / DFA, FMEA, Quotation, Tooling, Manufacturing, Maintenance, SOW, BOP Standards and ensure optimized manufacturing solutions and tools are defined before PXRB
  • Work closely with Business, Operations, Product Management and Technology leadership to develop an agile MET vision, strategy and execution plans that are aligned with business outcomes.
  • Monitor critical projects, define mitigation plans and monitor progress.
  • He/she will drive consistency in processes and equipment across the region, set standards and will drive continuous improvement activities in order to assure world class manufacturing developed.
  • Execute the Automation Strategy Plan and adjust it to the future needs of the business.
  • Share & Deploy best practices and lessons learned across all functions.
  • Drive platform development and standardization (risk minimizing, cost, reuse, utilization).
  • In collaboration with the global BOP/BOE leaders and subject matter experts, define process, equipment and tooling standards and ensure content is always up-to-date.
  • Oversees state of the art technology & innovation technology to foster manufacturing improvements.
  • Oversee innovative market trends and introduce the ones that add value to the company.

Your Background


  • Engineering Degree
  • Min. 5 years relevant experience with similar automation , production projects
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Lead by example
  • Experience with manual and / or automatic production.
  • Business knowledge of auto industry or similar with expert knowledge of operational processes and standards
  • Min. 5 years relevant experience with similar automation , production projects
  • Strong collaboration skills.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Availability to travel up to 25%
