Job Overview


The Cost Control Coordinator acts as a key link between the Finance and Procurement departments, ensuring effective monitoring, control, and reporting of project and operational costs. The role focuses on cost optimization, budget adherence, and financial discipline across projects.


Key responsibilities
  • Monitor project and operational costs against approved budgets.


  • Coordinate closely with the Procurement team to track purchase orders, contracts, and supplier costs.


  • Review cost variations and identify potential overruns or inefficiencies.


  • Prepare cost control reports, variance analyses, and dashboards for management review.


  • Support budget preparation, forecasting, and cash flow planning.


  • Ensure all costs are accurately recorded and aligned with financial policies.


  • Assist in improving cost control procedures and internal controls.


  • Provide financial support and insights to project and procurement teams.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field.


  • 3+ years of experience in cost control, finance, procurement, or project accounting roles.


  • Experience working in construction, real estate, or project-based environments is preferred.


  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with advanced Excel proficiency.


  • Ability to work cross-functionally with finance, procurement, and operations teams.


  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
