The Logistics Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing end-to-end logistics and supply chain operations to ensure efficient movement, storage, and distribution of goods. The role requires strong leadership in managing logistics teams, optimizing costs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting business continuity. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the automotive or large-scale industrial sector.
Plan, develop, and manage logistics strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation and distribution of materials and finished goods.
Oversee inbound and outbound logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, inventory control, and distribution.
Manage and optimize supply chain processes to improve efficiency, reduce lead times, and minimize logistics costs.
Lead, train, and supervise logistics teams, ensuring high performance, accountability, and operational discipline.
Coordinate with vendors, freight forwarders, customs agents, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics operations.
Ensure compliance with local and international trade regulations, customs requirements, and safety standards.
Monitor logistics KPIs, analyze performance data, and prepare operational and management reports.
Implement process improvements and logistics automation where applicable.
Manage contracts and negotiations with transporters and logistics service providers.
Handle risk management, contingency planning, and issue resolution related to logistics disruptions.
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Master’s degree or professional certifications such as CSCP, CPIM, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
7 to 12 years of proven experience in logistics or supply chain management.
Prior experience managing large-scale logistics operations and teams is mandatory.
Experience in the automotive industry or similar high-volume industrial environments is strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of logistics operations, supply chain planning, and inventory management.
Excellent leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in logistics software, ERP systems, and MS Office tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach.
Good understanding of customs regulations, import/export documentation, and compliance standards.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
