Raytheon’s NASAMS team is looking for a Senior Logistics Specialist to join our local team in Oman. In this role you will serve as a focal point for the customer responding to questions related to sustainment, repair and return, logistics and training coordination. As well as in-country operation with local suppliers, and Raytheon local team members.

You will engage with the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) Air Defense Force operation and logistics teams to ensure successful operations, logistics and training solutions where required under the program contract. You will consult with and report to the local Senior Manager, Field Services as well as the program management team both locally and abroad. This role is critical to ensure success of sustainment of the delivered systems and to ensure customer after sale support expectations are exceeded.

As a member of the RAYSEAS team, this role requires participation in program reviews, Technical Interchange Meetings and customers visits in the USA, Oman and Norway as needed.

This local role will be onsite at our RAYSEAS – Oman Branch, a subsidiary of Raytheon located in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman.

Additional travels within the MENA region may be required to extend product support to new customers

What You Will Do

• Interface with Royal Air Force of Oman engineering staff and operation staff for day-to-day engagement with after sales support such as spares orders and deliveries, repair orders, technical queries, and training delivery.
• Track repair orders, items / line replacement units’ shipment to / from Oman in coordination with Royal Air Force of Oman supply depot.
• Manage and coordinate sustainment support tasks.
• Coordinate fly-in engineering support for urgent customer needs and planned engineering support tasks by the Original Equipment Manufacturers.
• Coordination of Ministry of Defense / Royal Air Force of Oman premises access and gate passes for all fly-in engineers and other visitors from the company.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 6 years’ experience.
• Experience with ground-based air defense system maintenance and logistics.
• Experience with NASAMS maintenance and logistics.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Knowledge of Royal Air Force of Oman ground-based air defense system sustainment support.
• Ability to speak Arabic and English.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Technically proficiency with Microsoft Office.
