We are seeking a skilled Software Testing Engineer to join our dynamic IT services team in Muscat, Oman. As a vital part of our development process, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices. You will collaborate closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to create effective testing strategies that align with our project goals. Preferred Candidate:

  1. Proven experience as a Software Testing Engineer or similar role, preferably in the IT services industry.
  2. Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
  3. Familiarity with various testing methodologies, including black-box, white-box, and automated testing.
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  5. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  6. Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# for test automation.
  7. Knowledge of testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
  8. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  9. Proactive attitude towards learning and adapting to new technologies and tools.
  10. Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
