Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled professional with a strong background in IT application production support and financial systems. This role requires expertise in troubleshooting, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of applications within the financial domain. The ideal candidate will have the ability to resolve technical issues promptly, ensure SLA compliance, and contribute to the seamless operation of critical financial applications.
Must-have Skills (Mandatory)
- Application production support experience within the ITIL Framework.
- Proficiency in:
- Application troubleshooting, configuration, and maintenance.
- Performance tuning and optimization.
- Proactive monitoring and incident analysis.
- Resolution of tickets with quality and within SLA.
- Workflow maintenance and configuration.
- Functional experience in the financial domain.
- Knowledge of Moody’s architecture and applications (FTP, BASEL, IFRS9, LCR, ALM).
- Hands-on experience with:
- Application execution and data patching.
- Unix/Linux, UNIX Shell scripting, XML scripting, XSL scripting, SQL, and Oracle developer tools.
- Ability to work extended hours during critical incidents and weekend deployments.
- Acknowledgment and action on command center calls (24x7 availability).
Good-to-have Skills (Optional)
- Understanding of the ALM applications lifecycle in banks.
- Familiarity with BMC Remedy, JIRA, and Confluence.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT-based degree, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a relevant technical position, preferably within financial organizations.
- Banking/Financial industry background preferred.
