Position Overview

The Data Architect builds and manages enterprise data systems that strengthen research, manufacturing, and supply chain excellence. The role blends architecture, analytics, and compliance to transform data into usable intelligence.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design and optimize data architectures supporting pharmaceutical R&D and operations.
  • Develop end-to-end data models, pipelines, and integrations across multiple platforms.
  • Implement governance frameworks ensuring data quality, traceability, and GxP alignment.
  • Partner with technical and business teams to drive data-driven outcomes.
  • Deploy and manage AWS, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, Power BI, and Tableau solutions.
  • Introduce AI, analytics, and automation to streamline decision-making.
  • Maintain documentation and coach teams on secure, compliant data practices.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data architecture within pharma, biotech, or healthcare.
  • Strong command of modern data tools—AWS, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, Power BI, Tableau.
  • Solid understanding of governance and compliance frameworks (GxP, GDPR, FAIR).
  • Excellent communication and analytical problem-solving skills.
Preferred
  • Experience in a CDMO or regulated manufacturing setting.
  • Exposure to IoT, digital twins, or AI/ML applications for smart manufacturing.
