Job Title: Instrumentation Engineer – Oil & Gas (Onshore/Offshore)

Job Summary:
A seasoned Instrumentation Engineer with extensive experience in executing and managing instrumentation works for complex onshore and offshore oil & gas projects. Responsible for the complete lifecycle of instrumentation systems—from FEED and detailed engineering to commissioning and handover—ensuring compliance with international standards and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage instrumentation design and engineering activities across project phases (FEED, detail design, EPC, commissioning).
Develop instrument datasheets, IO lists, cause & effect diagrams, hook-up drawings, and loop diagrams.
Specify, select, and evaluate field instruments, control valves, F&G systems, and PLC/DCS equipment.
Perform technical bid evaluations and coordinate with vendors for FAT/SAT and documentation.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including process, electrical, and mechanical engineers.
Ensure compliance with industry codes (API, IEC, ISA), project specifications, and HSE standards.
Provide site support during installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup activities.
Contribute to risk assessments, HAZOP studies, and control philosophy development.
Maintain interface coordination between onshore and offshore teams and third-party contractors.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation / Electronics / Control Systems Engineering.
Hands-on experience with DCS/PLC systems (e.g., Emerson DeltaV, Honeywell, ABB, Siemens).
Strong knowledge of IECEx/ATEX standards for hazardous area instrumentation.
Offshore survival and H2S training (BOSIET/FOET) preferred.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
