About the role:
We’re looking for a Java Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team, developing server-side applications using Java Spring Boot in a collaborative, agile environment. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside skilled engineers and grow your technical expertise in a fast-paced, learning-driven workplace.
What You Will Do:
Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using Java Spring Boot
Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices for enterprise-level systems
Write, execute, and maintain unit tests using frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, or PowerMock
Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to manage and optimize data storage
Implement CI/CD pipelines and contribute to deployment automation using Docker and Kubernetes
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in design and development
Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and leads to deliver high-quality solutions
Follow version control standards using Git and maintain clear documentation throughout development
What We Are Looking For:
Up to 3 years of experience with Java 8 or above
Clear understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security
Proficiency in RESTful API design and implementation
Familiarity with markup languages such as JSON and YAML
Understanding of microservices architecture, UML, and design patterns
Experience with AWS (ECS, ECR, RDS, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, S3) is preferred
Knowledge of code quality and security tools (SonarQube or Fortify) is preferred
Knowledge of stateless application development is preferred
