Power BI Developer

Position: Power Bi Developer
Location: Pakistan

Summary:

Power BI developer will be responsible for creating end to end dashboards and reports, taking it through the entire lifecycle, including the sourcing, data modeling, semantic layer design, KPI generation, designing the dashboard UX, which can tell a story based on the customer data.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare reports using various visualization and data modeling methods. Define new KPIs and consistently measure in the datasets.
• Develop, manage and enhance data models across key metrics to provide best-in-class, transparent and accurate forecasting.
• Partner with the business leaders and end user base exercising flexibility in a matrixed organization to identify emerging trends and implementing meaningful drivers.
• Identify KPIs with clear objectives and monitor them consistently.
• Analyze data and present it through reports that can help in decision-making.
• Be able to convert business requirements into technical specifications and decide the timeline to accomplish tasks.
• Write complex DAX queries and functions in Power BI.
• Write SQL querying to create required datasets in the database.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in Power BI.
• Expert in Power BI data analysis, data visualization, writing DAX, building dashboards and reports.
• Expertise in designing and developing semantic layer of BI Tools.
• Ability to process large amounts of data to identify key drivers and develop robust models for various types of analysis and communicate effectively to stakeholders.
• Ability to write SQL queries and stored procedures. Familiarity with various relational database platforms (SQL Server, Teradata, Oracle, Snowflake, Vertica, etc).
• Strong communication skills in English both orally and in writing.
