Job description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement with around2 years of hands-on experienceto support and execute day-to-day procurement, vendor coordination, inventory control, and store operations. The role involves managing sourcing activities, ensuring timely procurement, maintaining stock accuracy, and supporting compliance with procurement policies and procedures.


Key Responsibilities:


Procurement & Sourcing


  • Source suppliers and obtain competitive quotations for goods and services.
  • Conduct vendor evaluation, comparison, and recommendation based on cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
  • Prepare, review, and process Purchase Orders (POs) in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain procurement documentation including quotations, contracts, approvals, and delivery records.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to track orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Perform market research and cost bench-marking to support cost optimization initiatives.
  • Support procurement-related travel arrangements, registrations, and documentation as advised by the supervisor.

Inventory & Store Operations


  • Coordinate with storekeepers and internal departments for material issuance and replenishment.

Coordination & Compliance




  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement SOPs, approval matrices, and documentation standards.
  • Support audit requirements by providing procurement and inventory records when required.

Qualifications & Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree inBusiness Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 2 years of relevant experiencein procurement, supply chain, or inventory management.
  • Working knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and inventory control.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency inMicrosoft Excel, Word, and PowerPointis mandatory
  • Experience with ERP or inventory management systems is an added advantage.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
