Job Title: QA Automation Engineer (Playwright, TypeScript, Azure CI/CD)

Hiring for a Tech Company specialized in Software development & Automation.


Job Description:


We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in Playwright and TypeScript. The ideal candidate will manage, maintain, and expand an existing automated test suite of 500+ test cases for a large-scale client project. You will also be responsible for fixing, writing, and optimizing new test cases, as well as maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Maintain and enhance existing Playwright automated test cases using TypeScript
  • Create new test cases based on business requirements and user stories
  • Debug and fix failing test scripts and pipelines
  • Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure high-quality software delivery
  • Monitor test runs and report defects accurately and promptly

Required Skills and Experience:


  • 2 to 5 years of experience in automation testing with Playwright and TypeScript
  • Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and best practices
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience working with large-scale projects (500+ automated tests)
  • Proficient in debugging, maintaining, and optimizing test suites
  • Solid understanding of software testing principles and QA processes
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience with REST API testing
  • Knowledge of Git and version control best practices
  • Experience in Agile or Scrum environments
