The Siebel Developer at Systems Ltd is responsible for the configuration, customization, and integration of Oracle Siebel CRM applications. This role requires deep technical knowledge of Siebel tools, workflows, scripting, and integration frameworks to support enterprise CRM solutions and deliver business value.
Key Responsibilities
Customize and configure Siebel CRM modules to meet business requirements across sales, service, and marketing domains.
Develop and maintain Siebel workflows, business components, applets, views, and screens.
Write and optimize eScript, browser script, and server script for enhanced functionality.
Design and implement Siebel integrations with external systems using EAI, Web Services, REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware tools.
Collaborate with business analysts and end-users to gather and analyze requirements.
Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning of Siebel customizations.
Ensure proper documentation of code changes, configuration updates, and development activities.
Support deployment and production activities, including troubleshooting and bug fixing.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Siebel Tools and Siebel Web Client.
Strong knowledge of Siebel architecture, object model, workflows, and scripting (eScript, browser script).
Experience with Siebel EAI, Web Services (SOAP/REST), and integration with external systems.
Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., Oracle) and SQL.
Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and best practices in version control.
