Mindstorm is partnered with Lion Studios, one of the world’s leading mobile games publishers, and we are headquartered in San Francisco with development in Lahore. Our products have been downloaded over 100 million times globally with #1 worldwide chart toppers like Super Salon, Flick Pool, Alliance Wars and Hexa Sort.

We are looking for the best and brightest minds in game development to join our team so we can empower our talent to create world #1 games.

Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with a robust background in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive experience with various databases, including Redis, MySQL, and Firestore, and proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud. This role involves hands-on development, leveraging Looker for data visualization to drive business intelligence in the gaming development sector, and participating in the entire development lifecycle from concept to deployment.

What will you be doing?

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable systems.
  • Implement best practices in coding, testing, and deployment to ensure high reliability and performance.
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to address and mitigate these problems.
  • Support our in-house automated testing and user acquisition (UA) platform (Pub Force) to streamline game prototyping and multi-network campaign management.
  • Contribute to our market intelligence suite (Game Lens) to analyze industry trends and competitor performance.
  • Develop backend APIs using Google Cloud Functions to support game features and logic.
  • Utilize Retool to build and manage custom internal tools as requested by the product team.
  • Create custom game analytics dashboards and data models using SQL and LookML.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate gaming requirements into high-quality technical solutions.

What are we looking for?

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • 3+ years of industry experience as a Full Stack Developer, with 2+ years specifically focused on React.
  • High proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python.
  • Proven expertise with Redis, MySQL, and Firestore.
  • Knowledge of task queues and message brokers like Celery or RabbitMQ.
  • Strong command of advanced SQL, including joins, Common Table Expressions (CTEs), and window functions.
  • Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with automated deployment pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline).
  • Deep understanding of design principles for building scalable web applications.
  • Proficiency in Git and collaborative code versioning workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with Laravel is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Looker for data visualization and business intelligence is a plus.

If you are a passionate developer with a keen interest in data science and enjoy working on challenging projects in the gaming development sector, we would love to hear from you. Apply now to join our dynamic team!
