Job Description
We are looking for a Software Engineer (Mid-Level) to join our full-stack development team. In this role, you will take ownership of features and modules, contribute to AI-powered applications, and work closely with senior engineers, product teams, and clients to deliver high-quality software solutions across diverse projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications
- Build and integrate LLM-powered features and AI-assisted workflows into applications
- Actively work with AI code agents (Copilot, Cursor, Claude, etc.) to enhance productivity and code quality
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Participate in system design discussions, architecture decisions, and code reviews
- Debug, optimize, and troubleshoot complex issues across the full stack
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, product, and design
- Communicate technical concepts clearly in client meetings and internal discussions
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing
- Continuously improve development practices, performance, and security standards
Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in Python and Node.js for backend development
- Solid experience with React and Next.js for frontend development
- Working knowledge of Laravel/PHP (preferred but not mandatory)
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, third-party integrations, and authentication flows
- Strong understanding of databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) and ORM frameworks
- Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, deployment pipelines, or containerization (Docker) is a plus
- Good grasp of software architecture principles, design patterns, and performance optimization
Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field from FAST-NUCES or COMSATS University
- 2–3 years of professional software development experience
- Experience working on production-level applications and client-facing projects
- Demonstrated ability to independently handle modules or features end-to-end
Soft Skills & Communication
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proactive mindset with a sense of ownership and accountability
