Job Brief: We are looking for a SQA Engineer (Manual + Automation) to join one of our core squads (e.
g., Pricing).
This role will focus on end-to-end testing of backend services and mobile applications, ensuring critical issues are identified early and quality releases are delivered consistently.
The engineer will also maintain and enhance automation scripts within the squad’s domain, balancing manual exploration with automation for efficiency.
Job Responsibilities: Perform manual testing of backend services and mobile app features for the squad (e.
g., Pricing).
Proactively identify critical and high-impact issues through deep domain understanding and exploratory testing.
Maintain and enhance automation scripts relevant to squad features (API + Mobile).
Collaborate closely with developers, QA leads, and product owners to ensure test coverage aligns with requirements.
Execute functional, regression, integration, and exploratory test cycles.
Log defects with clear reproduction steps and support root cause analysis.
Validate fixes and ensure production readiness of all squad deliverables.
Contribute to squad-level quality metrics (defect leakage, test coverage, etc.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
2 to 5 years of QA experience (manual + automation).
Hands on experience in Manual API testing (Postman, Swagger).
Backend services validation.
Hands on experience in Mobile app testing (Android/iOS).
Automation scripting (e.
g., Rest Assured, Appium, or equivalent).
Ability to think critically and detect high-impact issues beyond basic test cases.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.
) and Git/Bitbucket.
Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test design, and defect lifecycle.
Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
