INTECH Automation Intelligence is seeking a skilled and solution-oriented Solution & Proposal Engineer to join our fast-paced Solution Centre Department. This role is central to designing, optimizing, and proposing control system solutions tailored to customer RFQs and technical requirements. You’ll be working on high-impact projects across industries like Oil & Gas, Utilities, and Energy — shaping automation outcomes that prioritize performance, safety, and cost-efficiency.


What You’ll Lead and Deliver 


  • Assist the Sales team in the Pre-Qualification (PQ) process with new customers.
  • Align customer inquiries with INTECH’s core strengths and offerings.
  • Support Sales in developing pursuit strategies for targeted opportunities.
  • Maintain and update the Master Proposal Data Bank for efficient referencing.
  • Develop technically compliant proposals/quotations within agreed timelines.
  • Plan bid and proposal schedules in line with customer deadlines and requirements.
  • Review RFQs, specifications, and technical/commercial requirements, and prepare clarifications for client submission.
  • Identify new business domains and support RSMs & CMs in building relationships with prospective clients.
  • Gather feedback from RSMs on submitted proposals for continuous improvement.
  • Conduct site visits to customer locations when required.
  • Propose optimized electrical solutions tailored to client needs and obtain technical design approvals (where necessary).
  • Suggest value-added technical improvements during the bid stage to reduce costs and enhance competitiveness.
  • Review client purchase orders to ensure alignment with proposals and commercial terms.
  • Make informed decisions in selecting suitable and cost-competitive designs/products from OEMs such as ABB, Siemens, Schneider, etc.
  • Ensure complete handover of awarded projects from Sales to Operations for smooth execution.
  • Perform quality checks and standardization of solutions before final submission.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration within the organization.
  • Implement standardized practices and support quality assurance in proposals.
  • Contribute to continuous enhancement of solution offerings and proposal development processes.
