Job Description

About the role


Category Demand Planning coordinator supports the Demand Planning team by undertaking specific and ad-hoc administrative tasks as required. He/she also provides administrative support for planning and replenishment activities for a product area against agreed range plans and to identify and action agreed opportunities in order to optimize sales, stockholding and profit.


Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:


·Support the Planning team in ensuring that key stakeholders are updated on all replenishment activities up and down the supply stream.


·Resolve quarantines and locked stock issues by raising orders for agreed suppliers.


·Action systems maintenance activities like product attribute maintenance as directed by the Planning team to ensure the right products are ordered.


·Undertake tasks relating to replenishment and stock management, including placing timely purchase orders, reviewing lead time and delivery timeframe with vendors.


·Communicate and correspond professionally with suppliers and internal stakeholders at the appropriate contact level.


·Prepare well-structured, informative data analysis excel reports as per business needs.


·Flag and report any risks to stock availability and sales to mitigate loss of sales.


·Follow-up with other departments to ensure that requests are carried out and activities are coordinated.


·React and investigate Retail queries and provide recommended action points.


·Support the team to produce and arrive at commercially acceptable forecasts for vendors to support the sales opportunity of the business


·Raise orders, resolve queries, monitor and chase deliveries.


·Undertake specific and ad-hoc administrative tasks as required objectives

Qualifications

About you


The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:


·High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 3 years of job-related experience


·Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 2 years of job-related experience


Job-specific skills & experience:


·Ability to work with large amounts of data and identify trends and patterns.


·Ability to work within a team — supporting and enabling others.


·Good computer literacy — particularly Excel.


·Numerical analytical skills.


·Personal initiative and drive.


·Outstanding communication skills to establish and build successful relationships with all stakeholders.
