The Data Scientist will play a key role in turning data into insights that drive decision-making across the organization. This role focuses on building machine learning models, applying statistical techniques, and supporting business units with predictive analytics. Key Responsibilities


  • Model Development: Design, build, and deploy machine learning and deep learning models for classification, prediction, and pattern detection
  • Data Analysis: Clean, process, and analyze large datasets to support business needs and discover actionable insights
  • Collaboration: Work with different departments to understand their data challenges and provide practical solutions
  • Visualization & Reporting: Present findings through clear visualisations and dashboards using tools like Power BI or Tableau
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest developments in AI, data science, and analytics to improve model performance and methodology
  • Documentation: Maintain model documentation and help standardise data science practices across the team

Skills


  • Strong grasp of machine learning, statistics, and data mining techniques
  • Hands-on experience with Python, R, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn
  • Familiar with SQL, data wrangling, and working with structured and unstructured data
  • Proficient in data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
  • Good communication and storytelling skills to present findings to stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and in a cross-functional environment

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data science or analytics roles
  • Experience working with real-time data and production-level model deployment is a plus
