About the job Finance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager in Doha, Qatar to oversee the financial operations of our client's organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the finance function, developing strategic financial management systems, and ensuring effective financial controls. This role plays a crucial part in decision-making and will actively contribute to the financial health and performance of our automotive operations.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead the implementation of finance policies, processes, and procedures to ensure alignment with the division's goals.
  • Conduct financial analyses to provide strategic inputs for decision-making.
  • Manage financial due diligence and reporting, including capital reports and profit estimates.
  • Review and update accounting systems and procedures to enhance controls and provide financial insights.
  • Analyze financial data to assess the financial health and performance of automotive operations.
  • Formulate plans to manage operational costs and quality.
  • Review projections and assumptions, setting service level agreements and financial terms.
  • Prepare accurate management accounts and track performance against set deadlines.
  • Supervise bookkeeping, general ledger, receivables management, accounts payable, fixed assets accounting, and project costing activities.
  • Assess working capital adequacy, considering financing limits, terms, and covenants.
  • Monitor budget deviations and implement corrective measures.
  • Deploy effective controls to ensure smooth financial operations and mitigate risks.
  • Engage in cost-cutting measures proactively.
  • Attend meetings to monitor financial targets, providing updates on revenue status.

Qualifications:


  • Professionally qualified: CMA/CPA/CA. MBA qualification is a plus.
  • 10-15 years of relevant professional experience in the capacity of a Finance Manager.
  • Demonstrated technical knowledge of international accounting standards.
  • Proven track record in standardizing financial policies and implementing best practices.
  • Experience in raising capital and liaising with financial institutions, including due diligence knowledge.
