Charterhouse is working with a leading manufacturing firm based in Doha, Qatar and they work with the construction, engineering and industrial sectors in the region. They are looking to recruit a highly qualified and experienced Finance Manager to lead the company’s financial operations.
About the role
The Finance Manager will be responsible for spearheading the financial department, and will oversee multiple functions. This includes managing of financial reporting, Management information systems, costing, budgeting, and financial analysis.
On a broader level, the Finance Manager will have a number of Team Leaders that would report into them, so they would have to manage these internal relationships, while also fulfilling day-to-day duties.
This role would also be responsible for developing financial strategies aligned with our client’s long-term goals, coordinate risk management activities, and craft annual budgets and forecasts.
About you
The successful candidate should be an Arabic speaker who is already based in Qatar, ideally with experience in the Manufacturing or Construction industry. The Finance Manager should have a proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and relevant financial software (e.g., ERP systems, advanced Excel skills), and an in-depth understanding of procurement processes and strategies.
