HVAC Technician

About the Role 

The HVAC Technician role is responsible to carry out effectively the works of preventive & corrective maintenance, monitoring and servicing HVAC system,  diagnosing problems and troubleshooting equipment, Installation running tests and completing reports and utilizing correct tools and method as per instruction of safe work practices, maintenance  and standard working procedures.

Key Responsibilities 

• Under general supervision, diagnoses and repairs systems malfunctions requiring specific technical knowledge and relevant qualifications as well as      an understanding on time and material requirements.
• Identifying maintenance risks on equipment, Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems
• Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
• Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently and Providing technical direction and on-the-job training.
• Ensure full awareness of work health and safety requirements and expectations in order to minimize health and safety risks for self and colleagues.
• Follow up work instructions and customers' requirements and take a direct personal interest in reporting injuries, near misses, incident and             collaborating with team members and management to ensure customer satisfaction 
• Adhering to safety procedure and guidelines while on job sites and timely completion of work orders.

Qualifications

About the Candidate 

• High School  or Diploma with with minimum 1 year of Job related experience or Bachelors degree or equivalent with no job related experience
• 4 Years' experience  in the field of HVAC maintenance and installation  involving  maintenance for HVAC equipment
• Awareness of the chilled water and packaged units
• Preferred with airport experience
• Technical knowledge related to the corrective and preventive maintenance of heating ventilation , air conditioning and refrigeration system 
• Ability to read and interpret Technical drawings
