Jellabiya Tailor

We are hiring an experienced Jellabiya Tailor to join our client’s fashion boutique in Qatar. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of Arabic traditional and modern Jellabiya designs, excellent stitching and finishing skills, and the ability to create elegant, well-fitted garments tailored to customer preferences.

• Design, cut, and sew Jellabiyas according to customer specifications or provided designs.
  

  
  

• Take precise body measurements and conduct fitting sessions for accurate adjustments.
  

  
  

• Work with different fabrics such as silk, crepe, cotton, and chiffon.
  

  
  

• Apply embroidery, lace, beadwork, or embellishments as required for design detailing.
  

  
  

• Operate industrial sewing and embroidery machines efficiently.
  

  
  

• Repair, alter, and modify garments as needed.
  

  
  

• Maintain quality control and finishing standards across all completed pieces.
  

  
  

• Collaborate with designers or clients to deliver customized Jalabiyas on time.
  

  
  

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Jellabiya or Arabic traditional women’s wear tailoring.
  

  
  

• Skilled in cutting, pattern making, and sewing complex designs.
  

  
  

• Knowledge of both traditional and contemporary Jellabiya styles.
  

  
  

• Strong attention to detail and a passion for fashion craftsmanship.
  

  
  

• Ability to manage multiple orders and meet deadlines.
  

  
  

• Good communication and teamwork skills.
