The Lead Infrastructure Technical Engineer is responsible for leading the planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s physical infrastructure systems — including utilities, facilities, and other systems. This role ensures all infrastructure assets are reliable, safe, sustainable, and aligned with business growth and operational requirements. The position provides technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams and manages complex infrastructure projects from concept through completion.
Plan and manage end-to-end infrastructure projects, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and quality control.
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Prepare technical documentation, tender packages, and project reports.
Support commissioning, testing, and handover of new infrastructure assets.
Lead the maintenance strategy for critical infrastructure systems to maximize uptime and reliability.
Identify areas for improvement, modernization, or energy optimization within existing infrastructure.
Implement asset management and reliability programs, including preventive and predictive maintenance.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., production, safety, facilities, and sustainability) to support operational goals.
Represent the infrastructure function in audits, reviews, and management meetings.
Ensure all infrastructure work complies with safety, environmental, and statutory regulations.
Promote a culture of safety and sustainability in all engineering activities.
Maintain documentation for regulatory compliance, inspections, and certifications.
In-depth knowledge of infrastructure design standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements
Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and site management.
Competence in engineering design and analysis tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of mechanical, civil, electrical, and utilities infrastructure systems
ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
Minimum 5 years working experience, 3 years relevant working experience, 2 years GCC experience is a plus.
