The Lead Process Engineer specializes in midstream onshore projects carrying their background in Pre-FEED and FEED (Front End Engineering Design) and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) assignments, with expertise in facilities design and process engineering activities across various project stages.
Lead and provide process engineering input for the development of oil and gas fields, including conceptual studies, Pre-FEED, FEED, basic engineering, and detail design phases.
Conduct hydraulic calculations, depressurization studies, and equipment datasheet reviews.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project completion and support other disciplines as needed.
Participate in safety assessments, project start-up audits, and troubleshooting efforts.
Identify opportunities for GHG emissions reduction and energy efficiency improvements.
Develop and review design basis, operating philosophies, and technical reports.
Provide technical support to operations teams and advise on process optimization.
Participate in safety studies such as HAZOP, HAZID, and ALARP assessments.
Ensure compliance with international standards and company engineering practices.
Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies
Proficiency in process simulation software such as HYSIS, UNISIM, PIPESIM, and FLARESIM.
Strong knowledge of international standards, including API, NFPA, and ASMA.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proven ability to lead and collaborate in a multidisciplinary team environment.
ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
Minimum 8 years working experience, 5 years in a relevant supervisory position, 2 years GCC experience is a plus
