About the job Local Procurement Engineer

Job Objective:


To handle all activities related to procurement, and to ensure achieving the best terms of quality,


price, and delivery conditions.


Principal Accountabilities:


1. Identify vendors and negotiate purchase conditions with approved suppliers.


2. Process the purchase requests from different companies and departments.


3. Follow up with vendors and finalize purchase orders.


4. Prepare purchase orders and send it to suppliers.


5. Monitor delivery of goods, and process payments as per the LPO terms and conditions.


6. Provide analytical reports related to the procurement functions.


7. Maintain ongoing surveillance of the market, monitors price trends and keep abreast of


supplies developments.


8. Abide by all group policies and procedures.

Background &


Experience:


1. Bachelors degree in


engineering.


2. (5 - 10) years work


experience in technical


procurement field.
