About the role
You will be responsible for the preparation of financial and strategic information, monitoring variance against the budget, evaluating opportunities/risks and implementing cost control. You will support the middle management business with financial business cases, dashboards and analyses. Your will focus on value-added, meaningful, and insightful reporting and analyses for Senior Management in Finance and middle management Business.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Revenue Management, Strategic Partnerships, and Corporate Planning teams to deliver actionable financial insights for achieving revenue targets exceeding $10 billion.
- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Provide FP&A support for evaluating new business cases, route profitability, and fleet acquisition strategies.
- Lead financial modelling and profitability analysis for airline routes, fleet plans, and strategic partnerships.
- Create and present monthly financial reporting decks for senior leadership, detailing variances, risks, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with operational teams to identify and implement cost-control measures
- Ensure compliance with financial controls, regulatory requirements, and company policies in all business activities.
- Manage cross-functional initiatives to optimize revenue generation and streamline costs.
- Act as a Finance Business Partner for the senior stakeholders.
- Support ongoing and ad-hoc analyses for strategic decision-making in areas like network planning.

About you
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
- 7+ years of progressive finance experience, preferably in the airline or transportation industry.
- Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel, SQL).
- Strong knowledge of airline metrics, such as RASK, CASK, yield, and load factors.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing a team of finance professionals, with a proven ability to mentor and develop talent.
- High adaptability to a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
- Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership capabilities to inspire and drive team performance.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels of the organization.
