Our Client an engineering consultancy firm with a core competency in healthcare projects, with headquarters in Germany, and regional offices in Germany and Doha.
Job Description:
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will support our team during the design development and coordination of various projects, from the design stage to construction drawings and deliverables.
We are looking for 5 engineers specializing in HVAC and FF&Plumbing & Medical Gases.
Responsibilities:
- Design for the different systems of HVAC (duct sizing, thermal load calculations, and ventilation calculations).
- Design for the different mechanical systems (Plumbing, Firefighting, and Medical Gases).
- Preparing BOQ and specs for the aforementioned trades.
- BIM (Building Information Modeling) process initiation and implementation using various software such as Autodesk and Revit.
- Following up on project plans (deliverables, schedule, and resource allocations).
- Carrying out meetings with different clients, contractors, and suppliers.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in design projects.
- A healthcare background is preferable.
- Excellent knowledge in using BIM tools (CAD & Revit )
- Aware of Electromechanical systems and coordination processes.
- Excellent Communication, problem-solving, analytical, and research skills.
- Strong multitasking and time management skills.
- Ability to present his/her work and represent the firm in meetings.
