Oracle APEX Developer

The Oracle APEX Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX). This role focuses on building scalable, user-friendly solutions that meet business needs while ensuring data accuracy, system reliability, and secure integrations with other platforms. The developer will work closely with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver efficient, high-performing applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Development: Design and build responsive APEX applications based on user requirements and business goals
• Code Optimisation: Write clean, efficient PL/SQL, SQL, and JavaScript code with a focus on performance and maintainability
• Integration: Develop and maintain APIs and integrate APEX with external systems where required
• System Support: Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, implement fixes, and support testing activities
• Security & Standards: Ensure applications comply with security best practices and internal development guidelines
• Collaboration: Work with business analysts, DBAs, and IT teams to gather requirements and ensure smooth deployments

Skills

• Strong experience with Oracle APEX (version 20 or higher)
• Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Familiar with Oracle database architecture and RESTful web services
• Good understanding of performance tuning, debugging, and secure coding practices
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in Oracle APEX development
• Experience in developing scalable, enterprise-grade applications
• Preference will be given to candidates currently residing in Qatar with a valid QID
