Position Summary

The Quality & Sales Manager will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic sales leadership while ensuring full compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) standards. This role combines commercial performance with operational excellence, supporting sustainable growth, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction across trading and operations.


Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with the company’s trading and growth objectives.
  • Identify new markets, business opportunities, and strategic partnerships to expand the trading portfolio.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to achieve individual and collective targets.
  • Drive pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and closure of high-value deals.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to support strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and performance analysis to senior management.
  • Collaborate with operations, finance, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless order execution.

Quality, Health, Safety & Compliance (QHSE)

  • Develop, implement, and maintain QHSE policies, procedures, and standards in line with ISO and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international regulations relevant to trading, logistics, and operations.
  • Lead internal audits, inspections, risk assessments, and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Establish, monitor, and report KPIs for quality, safety, and environmental performance.
  • Investigate incidents, non-conformities, and customer complaints, ensuring root cause analysis and preventive measures.
  • Provide QHSE training, guidance, and awareness programs for employees.
  • Ensure supplier and contractor compliance with company QHSE standards.
  • Act as the main point of contact for external auditors, certification bodies, and regulatory authorities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and certification records.

Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, ethical conduct, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure alignment between sales objectives and quality/compliance requirements.

Support senior management with strategic insights related to commercial performance and risk management
