As the Technology Solution Architect Digital Lead in the Technology Strategy and Architecture Department, you will design and implement technically sound, operationally stable, and architecturally aligned solutions for various digital applications to support digital transformation projects. Your role involves creating solutions, managing solution artifacts, and updating the architecture repository across the technology landscape.
You will work collaboratively within the Technology Architecture Team, leveraging your deep understanding of digital technologies relevant to communications service providers (CSP) and digital service providers (DSP). Your expertise should encompass Digital Experience & Engagement technologies, UX journeys, orchestration frameworks (e.g., Jboss-EAPM), microservices design patterns, TMF APIs, and event-driven architectures like CQRS.
You will lead digital solution architecture efforts across multiple vendors in a fast-paced, multicultural, and agile environment, focusing on enhancing business outcomes and stakeholder engagement. Strong communication, collaboration, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills are essential.
Main Responsibilities:
Assess and align demands from business units with overall business and technology strategies.
Analyze and translate business objectives into actionable solutions and delivery plans.
Design end-to-end solutions that are viable, technically sound, and operationally stable.
Evaluate various solution designs and recommend delivery options.
Review IT applications (BSS/OSS) for deficiencies and propose improvements.
Maintain a decision register for delivery based on stakeholder priorities.
Communicate solution details to various stakeholders.
Ensure adherence to architecture best practices and participate in governance exercises.
Conduct feasibility and impact assessments, cost/benefit analyses, and risk assessments.
Identify solution components and their impacts on people, platforms, and processes.
Collaborate with project management to oversee solution delivery and manage risks.
Support digital transformation projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives and tracking deliverables.
12+ years in technology, with at least 10 years in the technology domain and 5 years as a Technology Digital Solution Architect.
Industry Knowledge: Minimum 5 years in the telecommunications industry, with expertise in digital and e-commerce domains, DevOps, and BSS/OSS systems.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Solution Architecture, IT operating models, and business/information systems design.
Knowledge of cloud solutions, hybrid integration, and digital technologies (e.g., UX frameworks, mobile technologies, engagement solutions).
Experience with container platforms like Redhat OpenShift.
Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal, leadership, negotiation, and risk management skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
Project Management: Familiarity with program/project management, team leadership, and agile methodologies. Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, ITIL, PMP) are desirable.
Problem-Solving: Ability to innovate and manage multiple complex initiatives effectively.
