Facilities and Resources Specialist | Specialists / Suppliers / Materials

This position focuses on specialized procurement and facilities management responsibilities, guiding the coordination of teams and the optimization of supplier engagement in Riyadh. You will be responsible for aligning the activities of the teams with business goals, implementing effective maintenance and asset replacement plans, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. The role includes budgeting, preparing procurement and maintenance orders, and leading continuous improvement efforts to enhance operational efficiency and reliability. A key expectation is that you will maintain clear communication with stakeholders, and work within the constraints of approved budgets and timelines.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop strategic sourcing for essential materials to support monthly procurement and supplier negotiations.
2. Build relationships with key suppliers and contractors to secure favorable terms and reliable delivery.
3. Conduct cost analyses to justify procurement decisions and approval of supplier proposals.
4. Coordinate maintenance plans and vendor collaboration to ensure timely asset servicing.
5. Introduce cost reduction through value engineering and supplier performance improvement.
6. Facilitate onboarding of new suppliers and contractors, ensuring alignment with industry standards.
7. Collaborate with project teams during tenders and technical evaluations.
8. Lead the evaluation of supplier performance and supplier-related risk management.
9. Provide guidance on procurement policies and operational controls to strengthen governance.
10. Support training and development of personnel in procurement and maintenance disciplines.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Previous experience in a procurement and facilities context, and the ability to operate within similar environments.
2. Strong written and spoken English and Arabic communication skills.
3. Ability to manage multiple suppliers and activities, with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
4. Understanding of procurement principles and industrial operations to select and implement the best supplier arrangements.
5. Familiarity with market dynamics and industry standards relevant to the field management.
6. Ability to analyze, plan, and implement cost control measures in a dynamic environment.
7. Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving capabilities across cross-functional teams.
