Job Description
The factory administrative assistant performs all the duties of running the factory office and supporting the factory manager. Including but not limited travel arrangements, scheduling transportation, good receipt, filing and other administrative tasks as assigned.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Receives and processes customer purchase orders by phone, fax or email.Works with other departments acting within established criteria, schedules and other services required by the customer.Coordinates desired shipping dates with plant management and operations.Processes customer complaints or positive feedback using appropriate forms and obtaining all pertinent facts.Maintains office supplies and equipment.Comply with all federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations and requirements.Comply with company policies.Other duties as assigned or required.
