Architectural Draftsman

We are seeking a talented Architectural Draftsman to join our dynamic team in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural drafting, showcasing their ability to transform concepts into detailed technical drawings. This role is crucial in supporting the design and development of various architectural projects, ensuring that all designs comply with regulatory standards and client specifications. The Architectural Draftsman will work closely with architects and engineers to produce high-quality drawings that reflect innovative design solutions. The successful candidate will possess a keen eye for detail and the ability to think critically about design challenges.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare detailed architectural drawings and plans using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
2. Collaborate with architects and project managers to understand design intent and translate it into technical documentation.
3. Conduct site visits to gather information and ensure that designs are feasible and compliant with local regulations.
4. Revise drawings based on feedback from architects, engineers, and clients, maintaining open lines of communication throughout the design process.
5. Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including specifications, schedules, and reports.
6. Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into designs.
7. Ensure all drawings are completed on time and within budget constraints, contributing to the overall project success.
8. Participate in design meetings and brainstorming sessions, providing insights and suggestions to enhance project outcomes.
9. Maintain organized records of all project documentation and drawings for future reference.
10. Support the team in obtaining necessary permits and approvals from local authorities.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Proven experience as an Architectural Draftsman, preferably within the architecture industry.
2. Strong proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
3. Excellent understanding of architectural terminology and building codes.
4. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, demonstrating strong communication skills.
5. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality in all deliverables.
6. Creative problem-solver with the ability to think critically about design challenges.
7. Strong time management skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies in architectural drafting.
9. Knowledge of sustainable design practices and materials is a plus.
10. Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
