Auto Mechanic (Shell)

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Auto Mechanic to join our dynamic team at our automotive dealership in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As an Auto Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various vehicle issues, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards. Responsibilities:

1. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
2. Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
3. Repair and replace faulty components, including engines, transmissions, and exhaust systems, ensuring all repairs meet industry standards.
4. Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles, documenting parts used and labor hours.
5. Communicate effectively with customers, explaining repair needs and providing estimates for services required.
6. Stay updated on the latest automotive technology and repair techniques through continuous training and professional development.
7. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
8. Collaborate with team members to enhance service efficiency and improve overall customer experience.
9. Assist in the training of junior mechanics and apprentices, sharing knowledge and best practices.
10. Participate in inventory management, ensuring that all necessary parts and tools are readily available for repairs.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Proven experience as an Auto Mechanic or similar role in the automotive industry.
2. Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques, with the ability to diagnose complex issues.
3. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
4. Effective communication skills, enabling you to explain technical concepts to customers in an understandable manner.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
6. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and repair methods.
7. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
8. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
9. Certification from a recognized automotive training program is preferred.
10. Fluency in Arabic and English is an advantage, facilitating communication with diverse customers.
