On behalf of our client, we are seeking The Chief Information Officer (CIO) who will be responsible for providing strategic vision and leadership for the planning, development, implementation, and management of the organization’s information technology systems. The role directs enterprise-wide IT initiatives to support business operations, improve service quality, enhance cost effectiveness, and enable business development. The CIO oversees all aspects of IT infrastructure, systems, policies, and resources, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. This role plays a key part in strategic governance and executive decision-making. The CIO reports directly to executive management. Responsibilities: Lead IT strategic and operational planning to achieve organizational goals Participate in strategic and operational governance as a member of senior management Develop and maintain an effective IT organizational structure and operating procedures Identify, evaluate, and manage cost-effective IT investments and resources • Develop, manage, and control IT operational and capital budgets Assess and communicate risks related to IT initiatives and investments Oversee acquisition, deployment, and integration of enterprise IT systems Approve, prioritize, and manage IT projects and project portfolios Ensure continuous delivery and performance of IT services and systems Establish policies, standards, and controls for IT operations and security Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning Supervise recruitment, development, and performance of IT staff Manage relationships with vendors, partners, and external entities Requirements Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science or Business Administration Minimum 8–10 years of progressive IT leadership experience Experience in the FinTech or digital financial services sector is preferred but not mandatory. Extensive experience in IT planning, organization, and development Strong background in enterprise systems, hardware, software, and outsourced services Proven experience in systems design and implementation from business requirements to operation Solid understanding of business processes, budgeting, and management practices In-depth knowledge of IT-related laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
