  • Lead and manage transportation planning, traffic engineering, and traffic safety studies and initiatives.
  • Interface with company stakeholders and government authorities to address traffic operations and safety improvements in the Eastern Province.
  • Act as technical lead for traffic safety engineering tasks and oversee work performed by engineering team members.
  • Review and develop scopes of work for projects such as Road Safety Audits, Traffic Impact Studies, and Temporary Traffic Management plans.
  • Provide technical support to internal and external entities to enhance traffic mobility and safety.
  • Review roadway designs, layouts, and specifications for existing and proposed schemes in accordance with applicable standards.
  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, meeting minutes, and official correspondence.
  • Develop and enhance technical capabilities of engineering staff through training and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Skills


  • Advanced expertise in Transportation Planning, Traffic Engineering, and Traffic Safety (minimum 10 years).
  • Strong technical proficiency in highway design and traffic safety studies.
  • In-depth knowledge of international standards and guidelines (AASHTO Green Book, HCM, HSM, MUTCD, ITE, FHWA).
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage multiple engineering workstreams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong report-writing capability.
  • Strong stakeholder coordination and problem-solving skills.
