The Civil Inspector is responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and ensuring that all civil construction activities are executed in compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. The role involves close coordination with contractors, consultants, and project teams to maintain quality, safety, and project timelines.
Inspect civil works including concrete, steel reinforcement, masonry, plastering, finishing, and structural activities.
Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
Monitor site activities and verify workmanship quality.
Conduct regular site inspections and prepare detailed inspection reports.
Review material submittals and ensure approved materials are used.
Witness and verify tests related to concrete, soil, and structural components.
Identify non-conformities and issue corrective action requests.
Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and consultants to resolve technical issues.
Ensure compliance with Saudi building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Monitor work progress and report delays or deviations.
Maintain proper documentation for inspections, approvals, and reports.
Support project audits and quality assurance activities.
Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
Minimum 3 to 6 years of experience in civil construction or infrastructure projects.
Experience in building, roads, bridges, or industrial construction projects preferred.
Knowledge of Saudi construction standards and local regulations is an advantage.
Valid GCC / Saudi experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials.
Ability to read and interpret drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
Proficiency in site inspection and quality control procedures.
Good documentation and reporting skills.
Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
