• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with HSE standards, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.• Conduct regular inspections, hazard assessments, and safety audits on project sites.• Report unsafe conditions, unsafe acts, and deviations from safety procedures, and follow up on corrective actions.• Support incident investigations by gathering information, preparing reports, and assisting in implementing preventive measures.• Deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings, and basic safety training to workers and subcontractors.• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with site safety rules.• Maintain safety records, logs, permits, and documentation.• Assist in emergency preparedness, including drills, equipment checks, and response coordination.• Collaborate with Safety Engineers, HSE Managers, and site teams to improve safety awareness and performance.• Monitor housekeeping, waste management, and environmental compliance on site.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.• Proven experience as a Safety Officer in construction, infrastructure, or landscape projects.• Knowledge of HSE practices, hazard identification, and incident reporting procedures.• Certifications such as OSHA, NEBOSH IGC, or equivalent are preferred.• Good communication and observation skills.• Ability to work outdoors and in fast-paced project environments.• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
