Job Description

Purpose:


This is very important position and the incumbent will be responsible for overseeing and managing contracts throughout their lifecycle, from negotiation to completion. This role involves ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, mitigating risks, and optimizing contract performance.


Job Description:


  • Review the contract thoroughly and ensure the requirements of the contract are implemented during all the stages of the contract.
  • Draft, review, and edit contracts to ensure clarity, accuracy, and compliance with legal and organizational standards.
  • Advise stakeholders about contract variations/claims and interact with client representative and consultants about contract matters.
  • Effectively maintain the records of all contractual correspondences with key stakeholders.
  • Make sure that all guarantees, bonds are maintained and updated according to the contract requirements.
  • Attend all relevant meetings related to the contract administration such as claims, variations EOT etc.
  • Prepare and assess the contractual entitlements in respect of the contractor.
  • Identify and assess potential contract risks.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and manage contract risks throughout the lifecycle.
  • Ensure that all terms and conditions are implemented correctly before the close out procedures and final settlement.
  • Coordinate contract closure activities, including final payment processing and document archiving.
  • Conduct post-contract reviews to identify lessons learned and improve future contract management processes.
