As a Control Room Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of control systems within the oil and energy sector.
Your responsibilities will include monitoring, operating, and maintaining control panels, systems, and equipment to regulate and optimize production processes.
You will collaborate closely with technicians, engineers, and other team members to achieve operational excellence while adhering to safety guidelines and industry regulations.
Responsibilities Monitor and operate control systems, including control panels, consoles, and computer systems, to manage and regulate the production process Adjust variables such as temperature, pressure, and flow rates based on operational requirements Perform routine checks on equipment and ensure proper functioning of all systems Identify and resolve any issues or abnormalities that may arise during operations Coordinate with technicians, engineers, and other staff to implement necessary adjustments or repairs Prepare and maintain records, logs, and reports detailing operational activities, incidents, and equipment performance Comply with safety regulations, standard operating procedures, and industry best practices to ensure a safe working environment Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field Proven experience as a Control Room Operator in the Oil & Energy industry Strong knowledge of control systems, including consoles, panels, and computer-based systems Familiarity with process plant operations, including pumps, compressors, turbines, and other equipment Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and procedures Proficient in using computer systems, data entry, and software applications for control operations Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
