Job Description

    1. Performs receptionist duties such as receiving visitors, answering the telephone and taking messages.
    2. Adapt person centered care principles, including caring attitude and compassionate communication when dealing with people
    3. Receives, opens, routes mail and may compose responses to standard inquiries
    4. Maintains filing and/or database and record keeping systems on paper and/or computer
    5. Prepares reports which may require compiling and computing statistical data
    6. Enter CME hours, Files registrations, correspondence, evaluations, etc
    7. Registers individuals for education programs
    8. Coordinates logistics; preparing and submitting purchase requisitions for the ordering of food, approved textbooks and any necessary equipment; preparing certificates and ensuring they are delivered
    9. Performs required computer functions including but not limited to Word, Excel
    10. Books conference rooms
    11. Makes and confirm external conferences arrangements
    12. Makes and confirms travel arrangements
    13. Takes, transcribes and distributes departmental meeting minutes
    14. Coordinates special events
    15. Performs any other duties as may be assigned
    16. Provide personalized coordinated care, and support for patients and families.
    17. Treat people with dignity, compassion, and respect

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Typing and spelling competency
Experience with various computer software applications including spreadsheets & Publisher
Data Entry experience


SPECIALIZED SKILLS:
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks


COMPETENCE:
Ability to provide outstanding customer service.
Ability to maintain satisfactory work performance and attendance records.
Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to operate office equipment


REQUIRED ATTITUDE TO PERFORM THE JOB:
Ability to speak clearly and concisely
Ability to interact professionally and courteously with visitors, physicians, co-workers and community agencies.
Treat people with dignity, compassion, and respect.
Must have flexible work schedule with some evenings required


  1. QUALIFICATIONS:
    1. Bachelor’s degree
    2. Fluency in spoken and written English language.
    3. Proficient in Arabic language
  2. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
    1. At least 2 years of practice
    2. Typing and spelling competency
    3. Experience with various computer software applications including spreadsheets & Publisher
    4. Data Entry experience
