Overview of the Role:
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) plays a vital role in ensuring that all clients purchasing equipment from FAMCO receive the full range of parts and service support offered by the company. The CSR is responsible for maximizing sales opportunities for all company products, parts, and services while collaborating closely with other team members. The CSR facilitates clear communication with customers, ensuring that parts supplied and work performed align with customer requirements. This position is essential within the Aftermarket Department, and the incumbent is expected to contribute to various departmental planning and strategic initiatives.
What You Will Do:
Ensure effective customer coverage in the assigned sales territory by developing and maintaining a CRM-based coverage plan. Build and maintain a deep understanding of customers needs and buying trends through regular field visits and engagement. Proactively identify sales opportunities and recommend parts and services that best meet customer needs. Collaborate with technical teams to provide accurate information regarding parts availability, pricing, and service options. Handle customer inquiries and issues promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty. Track and analyze customer feedback to inform service improvements and sales strategies. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute ideas for improving operational efficiency and customer engagement.
Required Skills for Success:
Proficient in computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and internet usage. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally. Commercial acumen, with a solid understanding of sales principles and customer service best practices. Strong problem-solving abilities to address customer concerns effectively and promptly. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

What Equips You for the Role:
Previous experience as a sales representative is advantageous, particularly in a technical or service-oriented environment. A background in technical aspects related to heavy equipment is highly desirable, enabling you to effectively communicate with customers about product specifications and services. Experience in customer relationship management, demonstrating a track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships. Strong ability to adapt to new technologies and tools to enhance customer service and sales processes. A proactive attitude and willingness to learn, coupled with a passion for providing excellent customer support.
