We are seeking an experienced Data Modeler with strong expertise in the banking domain to support enterprise data initiatives, data warehousing, and analytics projects. The ideal candidate will have deep understanding of banking data structures and hands-on experience in building enterprise-level data models.
Design and develop enterprise data models based on banking industry standards.
Build logical and physical data models for DWH and analytics environments.
Create and maintain fact and dimension tables, ensuring accurate modeling of business processes.
Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate banking requirements into scalable data structures.
Support ETL, BI, and analytics teams by providing data mapping and model documentation.
Conduct data validation, metadata documentation, and ensure model alignment with governance standards.
Optimize data models for performance and maintainability.
Strong experience in banking domain data models (Core Banking, Lending, Cards, Payments, CRM, Risk, etc.).
Hands-on experience with enterprise data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical).
Strong knowledge of DWH concepts, ETL processes, and dimensional modeling.
Expertise in building facts, dimensions, star/snowflake schemas.
Proficiency with data modeling tools (ERwin, PowerDesigner, ERStudio).
Strong SQL and database understanding.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any other related field
Experience in data governance, metadata, and lineage.
Exposure to cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
Understanding of banking regulations (Basel, AML, IFRS) is a plus.
