Foreground is proud to partner with a prominent and well-established group in the hospitality and tourism sector to support the search for an exceptional leader for a cutting-edge platform that is currently 70% developed. They are seeking a visionary Head of OTA (Online Travel Agency) who will take ownership of this high-potential platform and drive its completion, launch, and future growth.


Position: Head of OTA (Online Travel Agency)


As the Head of OTA, you will oversee the final stages of platform development and lead the business strategy to bring this innovative solution to market. Working under the umbrella of a well-known group in the Kingdoms hospitality and tourism sector, you will leverage your expertise to ensure the platforms success, driving commercial growth, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Leadership in Platform Development & Launch:


  • Lead the completion of the platform, which is currently at 70% development status, ensuring it is aligned with business objectives and market needs.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and design, to guide the platform through its final development phases and prepare for a successful launch.
  • Ensure the platform is built with scalability in mind to cater to future market demands and growth.

2. Strategic Growth & Business Leadership:


  • Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy that drives rapid user adoption and revenue growth upon the platforms launch.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance platform features, focusing on customer experience, service quality, and competitive differentiation.
  • Work closely with the groups senior leadership to align platform objectives with broader company goals within the hospitality and tourism sectors.

3. Operations & Financial Oversight:


  • Manage the overall operations of the platform, ensuring its efficiency, performance, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Oversee budget management and resource allocation for the final stages of development and beyond, ensuring cost-effective operations.
  • Track key financial and operational metrics, using data to inform strategy and optimize the platforms performance post-launch.

4. People & Stakeholder Management:


  • Lead, inspire, and grow a high-performing team responsible for the platforms development, launch, and continued success.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including partners and suppliers, to ensure smooth operations and service delivery.
  • Act as a key representative of the platform, promoting it across various industry channels and building long-term strategic partnerships.

5. Continuous Innovation & Process Improvement:


  • Drive continuous improvements and innovations to ensure the platform remains competitive and meets the evolving needs of the market.
  • Implement best practices in operational processes to ensure high-quality service and seamless customer experiences.

Mandatory Requirements:


  • Industry Experience: A minimum of 7-10 years in the OTA space, with a proven track record in platform management, business development, and product leadership.
  • Platform Development: Extensive experience in leading digital platforms through the final stages of development and overseeing successful market launches.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong ability to lead teams, drive business growth, and manage operations in a high-paced, evolving environment.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelors degree in business, hospitality, tourism, or a related field. An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
  • Proven expertise in leading and managing online travel platforms, with a focus on customer experience, product innovation, and operational excellence.
  • Strong communication, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
