IT Engineer

Help AG is looking for a skilled and experienced IT Engineer who is responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing IT infrastructure solutions across multiple sites. This role focuses on high-level architecture, server deployment, virtualization, and ensuring compliance with organizational and security standards. The Engineer will collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-level solution designs and architecture diagrams (e.g., using Microsoft Visio) for each site.

  
  

• Prepare, configure, and deploy physical servers, including hardware installation, RAID setup, and OS deployment across all project sites.

  
  

• Implement virtualization solutions on each server, deploying and configuring two virtual machines per site.

  
  

• Install and configure security agents for up to 20 IP-based log sources per site, ensuring seamless integration.

  
  

• Execute test plans, validate functional performance, and ensure all deployed solutions meet defined performance and security standards.

  
  

• Ensure compliance with organizational, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements across all deployments.

  
  

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

  
  

• 3–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, or related roles.

  
  

• Strong knowledge of server hardware, operating systems, and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).

  
  

• Experience with energy sector (e.g. Saudi Electricity Company) IT/OT environments is highly preferred.

  
  

• Experience with network and security agent configuration.

  
  

• Proficiency with Visio or equivalent design tools.

  
  

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  
  

• Strong communication and documentation abilities.
