Your role:
We're seeking a Junior Accountant for our Finance team. As a Junior Accountant, you will be crucial in contributing to smooth month-end closing by assisting the team and preparing accurate, timely reports.
Drawing on your proficiency in supporting the company's financial engine, you will be responsible for helping implement and maintain controls to ensure accurate information within the system to create unique experiences only Tamara can provide.
With a proven track record of excellent communication skills and proficiency in MS Office (Word & Excel), and ultimately revolutionize the way millions of users shop, pay, and bank.

Your responsibilities:
Responsible for assisting the team during month-end closing Preparing reports as required in a timely and accurate manner Assisting the team with ad-hoc requirements such as audits Assisting in handling the financial operations of the company Assisting with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures Ensuring accuracy of data within the system Assisting the finance team with daily tasks
Your expertise:
Experience
At a minimum, internship or co-op training experience in accounting tasks such as month-end closing, financial reporting, and supporting daily operations, with a maximum of 2 years of experience. Experience with month-end closing and financial reporting tasks. Familiarity with accounting software like Oracle is preferred but not required. Degree in Accounting or Finance.
Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word. Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
