The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and facility systems to ensure uninterrupted operations. The role involves diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, maintaining equipment efficiency, and complying with safety and quality standards across industrial, commercial, or residential facilities.
Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and basic instrumentation faults and carry out effective repairs
Attend breakdown calls promptly to minimize downtime and operational disruption
Inspect, service, and maintain HVAC systems, pumps, motors, panels, lighting, and utility equipment
Maintain maintenance records, checklists, and reports as per company procedures
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and site HSE standards
Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and site teams for planned maintenance activities
Identify potential equipment issues and recommend corrective or preventive actions
Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment when required
Maintain housekeeping standards in work areas and ensure proper tool management
Diploma / ITI / Technical Certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or related trade
Minimum 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience as a Maintenance Technician
Experience in industrial, commercial, or facility maintenance environments preferred
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance practices
Ability to read and understand basic technical drawings, manuals, and schematics
Practical troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
Basic knowledge of safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and preventive maintenance
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and reporting skills
Physically fit and capable of handling maintenance tasks
