We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Foreman to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment and systems. The Mechanical Foreman will also be tasked with supervising a team of technicians, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and according to safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment and systems
Supervise a team of technicians and provide guidance and training as needed
Ensure that all work is completed according to safety regulations and quality standards
Develop and implement maintenance schedules to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance of equipment
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues and provide effective solutions
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in a similar role
Proven experience in overseeing mechanical maintenance and repair work
Strong leadership and communication skills
In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues
Certification in mechanical engineering or a related field is preferred
