Job Description

Job Title: NDT Level UT Shear Wave

Location: Dammam

Experience: Minimum 5 years

Salary: Based on experience

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct advanced ultrasonic testing (UT) with shear wave techniques to detect flaws in welds and structural components.
  2. Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) using methods such as Penetrate Testing (PT) and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT).
  3. Analyze and interpret testing results to determine structural integrity and compliance with industry standards.
  4. Prepare detailed inspection reports with observations, findings, and recommendations.
  5. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain equipment in optimal working condition.
  6. Collaborate with engineering teams to assess project specifications and quality requirements.
  7. Provide technical support during inspections and resolve issues related to NDT processes.
  8. Ensure all testing complies with ASNT standards and client specifications.
  9. Train and mentor junior technicians in NDT procedures and techniques.
  10. Participate in audits and certifications to maintain company compliance with relevant standards.
Essential Qualifications:
  1. Education: Degree in Engineering or related field.
  2. Certifications:
    • ASNT Level 2 certification in Ultrasonic Testing (UT).
    • BCN Level 2 certification.
    • Level 2 certifications in Penetrate Testing (PT) and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) are mandatory.
Skills Required:
  1. In-depth knowledge of ultrasonic testing (UT) and shear wave techniques.
  2. Familiarity with BCN and ASNT standards and codes.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for interpreting test results.
  4. Proficiency in using NDT equipment and related software tools.
  5. Excellent communication skills for report writing and client interactions.
  6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  7. Strong focus on safety protocols and compliance.
